Terms of Service
Last updated: March 18, 2026.
These Terms govern your use of CardGames Bot, dashboard, and related services.
1. Acceptance and Eligibility
By inviting or using the bot, you agree to these Terms. You must have authority to manage the Discord server where the bot is installed.
2. Acceptable Use
- You may not use the bot to violate Discord Terms, community guidelines, or applicable law.
- You may not attempt to abuse, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service.
- You may not upload or configure content designed for malware, phishing, script injection, or platform abuse.
3. NSFW, Illegal, and Harmful Content
- NSFW sexual content, explicit violence/gore, exploitative content, or illegal content is prohibited.
- We may remove content, disable features, or suspend access for violating servers.
- Automated filters are best-effort and may not catch every violation instantly.
4. Copyright and Intellectual Property
- You must only upload images/content you have rights to use.
- Do not upload copyrighted or trademarked assets without permission/license.
- Upon valid rights-holder complaint, infringing content may be removed and access may be restricted.
4.1 Server Admin Responsibility
The Discord server owner/admin who installs and configures the bot is solely responsible for content uploaded or configured in that server, including card images, text, and any third-party material.
If a legal claim, DMCA/copyright complaint, or policy violation arises from content in that server, responsibility remains with that server owner/admin and not with the bot operator, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
4.2 Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the bot operator from third-party claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and legal expenses arising from your server content, misuse of the service, or violation of these Terms.
5. Content Moderation and Takedown
We reserve the right to remove reported content and disable access to protect users, comply with legal requests, or enforce these Terms.
To submit a takedown request, provide: guild ID, content details, proof of ownership/authority, and contact information.
6. Service Availability
The bot is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, pause, or discontinue features at any time.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including data loss, moderation issues, or business interruption.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, legal risk, policy violations, or security threats.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
